Robert Pottle is a former first grade teacher turned full-time children's poet living in central Maine. In addition to being the creator of Robert Pottle's Matrix Writing, he is the author of four books of children's poetry including I'm Allergic to School and the co-author of Tinkle, Tinkle, Little Tot. His funny poems also appear in seven Meadowbrook Press anthologies plus an anthology published by Scholastic. He has presented in a variety of settings from whole school trainings to national level events such as the International Reading Association's Annual Convention.

Robert spent ten years as a first-grade teacher and is now a full-time children's poet sharing his passion and enthusiasm for learning in schools across the country.
